AllAgeHub

VISION A collaboration platform for research, development and innovation that promotes accessible housing and assistive technology services, so that all people can live independent and safe lives regardless of disability or age.

AllAgeHub is a joint initiative launched by twelve municipalities in the region of Gothenburg, (Ale, Alingsås, Gothenburg, Härryda, Kungälv, Lerum, Lilla Edet, Mölndal, Partille, Stenungsund, Tjörn and Öckerö), with The Gothenburg Region (GR), as project owner during the development phase 2017-2019.

Development phase 2017-2019

Before AllAgeHub

  • The City of Gothenburg opens the Vision Bo Äldre visitor area in 2009.
  • The need to collaborate on accessible housing and assistive technology services is identified by the municipalities in The Gothenburg Region (GR) and other community actors.
  • Pre-study is conducted by GR and results in a joint vision document and applications for project funding.
  • The construction of AllAgeHub starts in 2017.

Today

  • At present, there are funding corresponding to 4.15 employees to build the AllAgeHub collaboration platform over a three-year period.
  • The municipalities and partners contribute with working time equivalent to a total of SEK 1.9 million per year.
  • AllAgeHub are temporarily located at Chalmers Technology Park in Gothenburg.
  • AllAgeHub agents are located in the 12 municipalities in the region of Gothenburg.
